We offer a camping holiday to enjoy and remember with our three traditional Mongolian Yurts or our Genuine 1960’s Goods Carriage at Yaxham Waters Campsite just outside Dereham, a purpose built campsite, a modern toilet and shower block , a fishing lake, café, shop, children’s play area, but with our own private area to unwind in, sit around the campfire, lay in the hammocks or cook on the bbq.
We offer a holiday to remember and whether you come as a couple or a family you’ll find a whole range of things to see and do. Perhaps you’ll enjoy chilling out fishing in the on-site lake, or using the accommodation as a base to explore the local villages and countryside, or visiting the beautiful Norfolk coastline.

GENUINE 1960’S BOX VAN OF THE LINCOLNSHIRE RAILWAYS – Sleeps 4
Welcome to our Railway Goods Carriage! We found this on E-bay, it had been sitting in a Barn for thirty years in Lincoln where it had been used as a tool store. We brought it home and have spent months converting it into a very nice romantic Glamping accomomdation. We have used a lot of wood that has been recycled. We have used the Glass out of washing machines to make three little windows. It has been fully insulated inside there is a double bed, double futon, Kitchen area that includes a Calor gas stove, grill, pots, pans & crockery etc, Woodburner, solar lights, and lanterns. It sits on Railway Sleepers with a deck out front with tables and chairs, also you will find a fire pit, charcoal barbeque, hammock and eating/seating area for a special evening under the stars or a lovely day basking in the summer sun. The internal measurements while compact ( 7 foot wide and 15 foot long ) are still much bigger than a reproduction of a Shepherds Hut.
Our unique selling point is that you can sit in your Railway Carriage and watch the old diesel and steam locomotives on the Mid Norfolk Railway go past across the fields adjoining our site.
