Frizparc Shepherds Hut glamping in Cornwall is a private glampsite with sole occupancy just 20 minutes from the stunning North Cornish coast and not many more to the granite tors and leafy valleys of Bodmin Moor. A perfect place from which to explore the beautiful Tamar Valley and discover some of Cornwall and Devon’s lesser known rural gems. We welcome you enjoy this peaceful retreat where we’ve endeavoured to provide as many modern comforts as possible while keeping in touch with the rustic charm of glamping in glorious Cornish countryside.
The Frizparc Shepherds Hut sleeps two and can also accommodate one tent for members of the same party.. Inside the Hut you will find a comfy fixed double bed already made up for you with duvet and pillows and some extra fleeces just in case of chilly evenings. Many a kettle can be simmered on the Typhon hob or a jacket potato or casserole in the little oven but if you want to go mainstream there is also a calor gas twin hob and grill in the Hut.
Summer evenings at Frizparc lend themselves to alfresco cooking and dining so you will also find a BBQ/Firepit with charcoal supplied free of charge. Have breakfast on the veranda and watch the sun come up over distant the Dartmoor hills.

There is no mains electricity supply at Frizparc so we have solar photovoltaic panels fitted to the roof of the Pens to provide lights in both buildings. There are no power sockets available so there is no TV, but just in case you do want to catch up with the world there is a small wind up radio (and torch) for you to use. Most mobile phone networks receive signal at Frizparc. A USB mobile phone charge point is available in the hut.
Close to the Hut you will find the “Pens” housing the Washing and Toilet Facilities with a Shower Room, a separate Wash-up room where you can hang coats and store boots. There is a mains water supply to Frizparc and we have a solar thermal system to heat the water – lots of lovely hot water all year round, regardless of the weather! The Privy is a Natsol composting toilet which is probably the best of its kind and widely used throughout the UK.
